songs: "Nantinndi"

Nantinndi is based on my Safari trip. I saw two old people, Mr Kenkene and Miss Opibeh, walking barefoot from Ghana to Nigeria, about 70, 80 years old, holding on to their baluchon and their spiritual hope in their guide.

They were unique and beautiful,i love old people, i love to draw their faces and hands , it holds so much life sign of beauty, their eyes'expression ,their nose and mouth ,hair, forehead, their hands, all of it showing their wisdom, strenght, ...

"Kenkene"means beleive in..faith..strengh is use as a person'name or use as a definition that , usually for men. In this song because we did not know their name, M'besso called the old men "Muassi Kenkene"(the one man with hope)and the old lady "Muhgo Opibeh" for (the one woman who support and care the one who caries spirits)!and the spirits you can see them throughMuhgo Opibeh eyes when she stared and smiled at us as my frien Tibili said i was certainly her first red hair and cloud skin she met.

So much hope for as they do not know how long may be 2 may be 3 seasons at walking their path through a better living, and might not eithen reach their destination ...but will follow their wind,,,

the safari positive happenings! : well, so much to see, beautiful lanscape as i like mother nature first sometimes trails called "yeye" sometimes no trails. Meeting a lot of animals this i loved, then i had to meet and learn how to dialogue with the people was fun, some of the tougo dialect i learn had some different meanings for different tribes hum , was also confusing but one of my second passion after dancing is learning languages quite as fast as a dance. I was absolutly interested at how recognizing good vegetation food to bad for my health, and learning how stepping on the right track, then just learning what life is about.

the safari negative happenings ! : well, was great too, just very bouncy and quite dangerous when we crossed others "unzongi"(out tribes), i had to hide underneath their tarp in the back o the truck, otherwise they will definitly do no good to me and my dear brothers sisters(tribe members), or let say sometimes not quite appetizing meals the favorite welcoming Pumiin tribe food is " snake " which actually tasted like calamar fish, but as soon as i discovered the men frying the snake in the fire then i decided to go for mouth fingher CPR then there is that day for a spider bite who paralysed my leg for quite long days and discovering quite old traditionnal tribal medicine that anyway you look at or learn definition it does make it feel better.

"Coccoumba"

flying bird!

this is a self esteem lesson i've received from Tata Aguadulu, he persuaded me that having dancing feet like mine means i can drum that my center is in my hands, when i dance my hands talk he said so let them speaks through the drumming, then i began my first djembe lesson then on and on... the whole song is about realizing that times dreams, once you do learn or experience things for yourself as well as for others, only then awakening will your gift live at greeting the day as a sunrise till moon face rise too.As looking a bird taking off flying , we have to learn to fly .

"Customs"

Customs is the good odd scary feeling of defecting a land, you 've got to detach from it, when things are stagning, when you feel pressure into a system you don't belongs, when you feel like a bird in a cage you make the door open only if it is meant to be, but you still have to go through the customs of no sens like you are wearing the animal tag that you want to get rid off, so these are the last beat of your heart and consciousness that go in your mind, of for once you know you are doing something illegal but this time for you freedom to be, so illegal only to the society but not to the eyes of the one above.

Ouamadi "Goat Spirit"

is a goat spiritual teaching!, why?, well, in the tribe they were raising a goat herd which had a birth defect for having only three legs, all preachers and children waiting for the baby goat to be born, were chanting and clapping hands and sticks and some djembe players were beginning the ritual as the goat began her labor, the whole strengh was put on beleiving the goat will get up on her three legs because her fourth leg was in our soul but if the ritual is not done right it will then be lost.I got absorbed by the dance ritual and started a hours of intense dance meditation. Some baby goats were born with the back leg missing and did not make it some were born with the front leg missing and will make it.

M'Baneo "i want to be your hands..."

his a spoken feeling experience and beauty when you look back at your past

when i left africa it was a celebration of joy and sadness to a new future and a sadness to let my new friends here and me to go there, alone again...

a true conversation between a 8 years old boy sharing his wish to

become my hands, my eyes to see the outside world and fear to loose

his best and only pale friend with wildness hair, like a giant bell ringing in

a church like a warm wind on a beach a life poem you do never forgot.

Sahara

as an orphan i always or will always be a child and be around children i love them, this is a vision i had while i was teaching children , i saw a video ideology wherechildren with be theming a mirage or old tradition story from Egypt or Morocco , in the Desert of Sahara, no one really knows if it is true or not, so they go and check it out for themself..on a sahara jeep trip, on camel .... they are hearing pigmies children talking ancient languages, walking and sighting like a snake,, you cannot reach them if you try they disappear, you can hear them...listen to our song sahara sahara sahara....it will tell you more and transport you there...

Gypsy

that is about the real spirit of gypsies, music you can't get out your stream,

like a musical adrenaline you can't hide it , it is in your eyes, it is in your move, the pridness the bravery, the spiritual faith in connecting with outside land and cultures, it is like a note with no end....

like the smell of a flower....like the absorbtion the ocean or the mountain create in our heart when we have missed it and just arrive back to it,it is the in between lines of a book you going to live in...
